A flight headed cross country was forced to make and emergency landing in Amarillo on Wednesday.


This is the third emergency landing made at the Rick Husband International Airport this year. Good thing we have an airport the size we do in this town, if not... who knows what the outcome could have been.

A passenger airplane headed from Phoenix to Illinois carrying 156 passengers was forced to make an emergency landing at the Amarillo airport because of engine trouble. Passenger were removed from the plane while it was inspected.
