A Utah FedEx driver has been arrested for jokingly saying a package he is delivering could be a bomb.

A FedEx driver from Salt Lake City, Utah was arrested and charged on Wednesday for third-degree felony count of threat of terrorism.

The driver was deliver a package to Camp Williams, a military base in Salt Lake City. The package was to be delivered to an Army Corps of Engineering Employee, but when another employee at the base asked the driver what was in the package he replied with:

"It was probably a bomb."

As soon as the driver made the comment the Military Police on Camp Williams evacuated over 200 employees  and the surrounding area. The FedEx driver told the police that the comment he made was a mistake but was arrested and charged anyway with third-degree felony count of threat of terrorism.
