
Governor Abbott And Ronny Jackson Hosting Events in Amarillo
Early voting is in full swing and election day will be Tuesday, November 8th.

Since election day is so close candidates are making their way around the state talking to their constituents. A few weeks ago, Beto came into town for a town hall, and the question was asked, where is Governor Abbott and why hasn't he made his way to Amarillo for more than just a ribbon cutting?
The wait is over and Governor Abbott will be in Amarillo, on Tuesday, November 1st, one week before election day. The Governor will be at Youngblood's Cafe at 12 pm. Youngblood's is located at 620 SW 16th. You can RSVP here there is no cost to attend.
Congressman Ronny Jackson is also making his way to Amarillo on November 1st. Congressman Jackson will be at Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant from 5:30 pm - 8 pm. Abuelo's is located at 3501 45th Ave. The cost to attend is $30 and you can purchase your tickets here.
If the current polls for Governor of Texas are any indication, the election on November 8th will be extremely close. The current polls (as of publishing) look to be Abbott at 52%, and Beto at 43%.
One of our great rights as US citizens is to vote and vote often. This is a huge election year for Texas. If you want your candidate to win, then get out and vote. Early voting is going on right now and will end on Friday, November 4th.
Currently, in Potter County 58,048 are registered to vote, and as of the time of publishing posted only 3,446 people have voted. Randall County has 95,933 registered voters and at the time of publishing, 8, 73 people have voted.
There have been a few changes in polling places, double check before you head out to vote.
