If you were privileged to have or to have had some really awesome grandparents then you know just how valuable they are to growing up.  They are there to spoil you, take your side when mom and dad just don't get you and teach you life lessons that you just can't get from anyone else.

It's time to celebrate Meme and Papa, Granny and PePaw,  Nana and G-Pa, or whatever you call them.  Their day is coming.

Sunday, September 10th is Grandparents Day

No mom and dad this isn't the day to pawn your children on to their grandparents.  It's a day you and your kids honor the grandparents with some fun.  Maybe brunch, a nice lunch and fun.

We've got the perfect idea of fun and that's the Discovery Center.

This weekend the Discovery Center is honoring all grandparents with $1 admission all this Saturday and Sunday, September 9th & 10th.   Not only will the G-Parents get in for $1.  Half-price memberships will be available for purchase by the grandparents.

This weekend will be a perfect time to go and learn and play at the Discovery Center because the Discovery Center will be closed September 11- 22, because they are putting in a brand new exhibit.

If you can make it with the Grands on Saturday and Sunday, don't forget Discover for $1 is this Friday, September 8th and everyone gets in for $1 starting at 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm.  Then on Saturday, September 9th admission into Wildcat Bluff Nature Center is only $1 sun up to sundown.
