This Popular Amarillo, Texas Food Truck is Saying Goodbye

One of the great things about Amarillo is its food truck choices.  Amarillo offers a fantastic variety of food trucks featuring cuisines such as fair food, desserts, BBQ, tacos, and Asian cuisine.

If you've been food truck hopping you know how delicious these talented chefs behind the window can be when it comes to cooking up delicious food in a small space.

One popular food truck in Amarillo is Hibachi Kingdom.  They serve up some amazing Asian cuisine and it is a huge amount.  You always seem to have enough leftovers.

Where is Hibachi Kingdom Located?

Hibachi Kingdom was usually found at 10th and Buchanan in downtown Amarillo.  However, they would set up in the Exchange Park and all over town, or at different events.

Hibachi Kingdom Food Truck is Closing in Amarillo

This food truck is loved by many in Amarillo however, recently, Hibachi Kingdom announced that they were closing.

They announced on their Facebook page that they were going to have to close the business for a little while.  That's the bad news.  The good news, read the last part of that, for a little while.  Although they are closing for now, they are planning to reopen when the timing is right.

Hibachi Kingdom has been open since 2020 and they have been rolling through the Yellow City serving up some delicious food.

They closed the food truck on March 12th and the outpouring of love from the community was enormous, it was so big, that they sold out of food in the first few hours.

Again, they are reassuring everyone that they will be back.  This is where our patience will have to set in and hopefully, our cravings will stay away until they return.
