What Happened Near Tulia on May 27
That's why it was so shocking to see that a bridge started collapsing near Tulia on Tuesday, May 27. It occurred on southbound I-27 and FM 928 between Tulia and Kress.
How Drivers Were Impacted by the Collapse
The man in the above TikTok was correct in saying it was a Final Destination moment.
A truck carrying a crane hit the bridge and caused the bridge to crumble.
The interstate was shut down, and traffic was diverted to the access roads after the bridge started crumbling.
What a scary moment for all of those traveling that road and witnessing it happening. That would include the people driving under the bridge and witnessing it, and those on the bridge at the time the crash occurred.
