There are stories about haunted places everywhere you look, especially around Halloween. Point out a random building, and there is bound to be someone who will tell you some ghastly tale of specters roaming the halls and tormenting the living. This leads me to what might be the strangest supposed haunting in Texas I've found so far.

Here is the strange story of a haunted bathroom and a haunted elevator inside a Texas hotel.

San Antonio, Texas is notorious for supposedly being haunted. On a recent dive into stories on the internet of alleged hauntings in Texas, I came across a location in San Antonio that I never would have guessed people would claim is occupied by ghosts.

According to at least two individuals, there's a Marriott in San Antonio that is haunted.

In one account, the haunting took place in the bathroom of a room they had rented. According to the individual, the scares started when eyes were seen peering out a vent in the bathroom. Then, a knock was heard at the door to the room. When they went to investigate, no one was there.

Steam from the shower revealed a message on the mirror that was filled with expletives. Somehow, they were able to go to sleep and were awakened by the sound of knocking from the bathroom. The strangest part of the entire story is how they continued to stay in the room and just commented that they thought these happenings were merely "strange."

The second instance supposedly involves weird vibes and a spooky elevator ride. In the first instance, they claim they woke up in the middle of the night and experienced some weird vibes. Then, in the second instance, they were on the elevator with their children.

They pressed the button for the first floor but wound up on the fifth. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, the elevator they were finally able to get back on the elevator. This time when they pressed the button for the first floor, they were taken to the basement.

Eventually, they were able to make their way to the lobby.

Haunted or not? That's not for me to decide. What I find interesting is that even ghosts can prefer a stay in a nicer hotel. It's not just for the ancient bed and breakfasts anymore.
