The Terrifying Incident Happened During Sunday Service In Dallas.

Since 1996, The Potter's House in Dallas is one of America's largest mega-churches boasting a membership of more than 30,000 members from all walks of life from the poor to celebrities.

Much to the shock of its congregation inside the church and a worldwide audience watching on social media, 67-year old Bishop T.D. Jakes suffered what a "medical emergency" as he was wrapping up his hour long sermon on Sunday.

The founder and senior pastor of the church was on stage Sunday finishing an hour-long sermon when he lowered his mic and began to shudder. A crowd of people quickly rushed over and surrounded him on stage.

While the live feed of the service was immediately cut off, the church reported that Jakes received “immediate medical attention” according to an official statement posted to the Bishop's "X" account.

Bishop Jakes’ daughter, Sarah Jakes Roberts, and her husband, Touré Roberts, who both frequently preach at the Potter’s House, said in a video posted to Instagram late Sunday that Jakes was “already beginning to improve.”

They went on to thank followers and others who expressed prayers and well-wishes to Bishop Jakes.
