The Fourth of July weekend always has a ton of events going on around it. You see parades, fireworks shows, and people throwing big BBQ's. However, it's a weekend that is typically a bit longer in nature where we see people getting three and even four day weekends.

It's a chance for families to get out and do a lot of different activities and not have to jam them into just a couple of days or burn vacation days to do it.

If you're a Bank of America customer, then we have an activity for you that will be completely free this weekend, and if you haven't done it before, it would be well worth taking advantage of the five finger discount.

The bank has teamed up with Panhandle-Plains Historic Museum to allow their members in for free Saturday, July 1 and Sunday, July 2. If you have a Bank of America, Merrill, or Bank of America Private Bank debit or credit card, all you have to do is show it and you're in for nothing.

It's a part of Bank of America's "Museums on Us" campaign to get more people into museums across the country and learn about history of so many things.

PPHM is all about the history of Texas. In fact, it's the largest history museum in Texas where you'll get everything, from dinosaurs to everything you need to know about about the history of our great state. They have a life-size Pioneer town, as well as an incredible art collection, and we're only scratching the surface of what's inside.

So if you're a Bank of America customer, go and check it out for the first time, or fifth time. You'll always find something new inside.
