It’s Christmas time here in Texas which means people are getting the shopping done at the last minute. I’ve always said if you’re going to buy groceries in Texas you’re getting them from H-E-B and if you want anything else you have to go to Walmart. Going to Walmart during the holidays does bring out some of the worst in people.

You have to remember that Walmart not only has to go through Black Friday deals but also deals with Christmas time. We’ve all been told during the holidays when shopping at any store there is a couple of rules that you need to follow. Make sure you keep your purse/handbag as near you as possible, and make sure that you are either holding your child’s hand, or you keep your child from wandering off but no one ever talks about "CODE BROWN"  which is something that could save your life if you’re shopping at Walmart.

According to The US Sun shopping in Walmart should always be enjoyable, but please keep an eye open and your ears on the intercom, because if you so happen to hear someone over the speaker announce that there is a" Code Brown", you will need to find the quickest exit and leave immediately, I’m talking about sprinting to the doors if possible. Walmart employees have stressed that "Code Brown" is considered that there is an act of violence happening in the store. The last thing you want to do is place yourself or anyone you love in danger, so keep in mind to take Code Brown very seriously.
