Lady Antebellum have canceled their upcoming concerts in South Africa. The trio cites Hillary Scott's pregnancy as the reason behind the cancellations, but says they hope to make it to the area to perform soon.

Lady Antebellum were scheduled to perform in Cape Town, South Africa, on Oct. 13 and Johannesburg, South Africa, on Oct. 15, as part of their 2017 You Look Good World Tour; however, Big Concerts, one of the shows' organizers, has announced that both shows have been canceled. In a statement, the company explains, "It has been advised that in the best interests of Lady A’s Hillary Scott's health and that of her twins, that the tour no longer go ahead in South Africa."

"We are thrilled for Hillary and her precious twin girls, but want to share our deepest apologies to our fans," Lady A say in a statement of their own. "We have dreamed of performing in South Africa for years and can’t wait to make new plans to visit your beautiful country soon."

Fans can visit the Big Concerts website to learn more about ticket refunds for the two shows.

Lady Antebellum began their 2017 You Look Good World Tour in late May, and recently wrapped up the North American leg of the trek in Nashville. European dates on the tour, scheduled for Oct. 1-10, remain on their calendar.

Scott announced her pregnancy in mid-August; one day later, she revealed that she and husband Chris Tyrrell would be having twins, and on Sept. 14, she shared that the babies would both be girls. Scott is due in February.

Scott and her husband are not the only Lady Antebellum couple expecting, either: The trio's Dave Haywood will welcome his second child soon as well. Haywood's wife Kelli is due in December.
