In early November, Lauren Alaina's ex-boyfriend, Christian comedian and YouTube personality John Crist, was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women. The country singer has stayed largely silent about the matter -- save for brief mentions of a recent breakup here and there -- but on Monday night (Nov. 18), Alaina shared some thoughts on the matter.

To Entertainment Tonight, Alaina says that she has not spoken with Crist recently, "but I wish him and everyone in his story the best." Of the allegations against her ex-boyfriend, she adds, "I'm not really involved in that."

The allegations of years worth of Crist's inappropriate behavior toward women -- sexting, drunken late-night phone calls, having sexual relationships with women in other relationships and offering tickets to his shows in exchange for sexual favors -- came to light in a Charisma News story, for which five different women shared their experiences with the comedian. After the story broke, Crist said in a statement that he is "not guilty of everything I've been accused of ... I have treated relationships with women far too casually, in some cases even recklessly."

"My behavior has been destructive and sinful. I've sinned against God, against women and the people who I love the most. I have violated my own Christian beliefs, convictions and values, and have hurt many people in the process," Crist added in his statement. He also announced that he has been seeking "regular professional treatment for my sexual sin and addiction struggles," and canceled his remaining 2019 shows.

Alaina and Crist dated for a few months in early 2019, after she and longtime love Alex Hopkins broke off their engagement. The singer revealed that she and Crist -- who were friends prior to beginning their relationship -- had broken up in mid-September.

"A breakup is always hard, but I've just been really focused on myself and dancing each week and doing my best," Alaina, who is currently competing on Season 28 of Dancing With the Stars continues to ET. "All I want to do is the right steps on that dance floor."

During Monday night's DWTS episode, Alaina earned a spot in the competition's finals. She'll compete for the TV dancing show's Mirror Ball Trophy on Nov. 25.
