Buy a Blizzard, Help a Texas Panhandle Child This Summer

One of the best things that happens in Amarillo each summer involves something sweet and creamy. Not only is it a special treat, but it is a sweet treat that helps kids in the Texas Panhandle.

It's Miracle Treat Day with the Children's Miracle Network.

This is a special day that takes place at Dairy Queens in Amarillo and across the country.

Miracle Treat Day began in 2006 when Dairy Queen teamed up with the Children's Miracle Network and put together this amazing fundraiser. On Miracle Treat Day $1 or more from every Blizzard sold will go to support the Children's Miracle Network.

Now you may be thinking, since this is happening all over the United States, how is it going to help kids here in Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle?

Every single dollar raised during Miracle Treat Day will stay local, which means kids in the Texas Panhandle will be helped.

When is Miracle Treat Day?

Miracle Treat Day is coming up on Thursday, July 31.  This is the day when you can spoil yourself, your family, and even your co-workers with a Blizzard of their choice. At least $1 from each of those Blizzards will be used by our local CMN to help our local kids.

How Your Miracle Treat Day Blizzard Helps Amarillo Kids

The Children's Miracle Network in Amarillo is dedicated to promoting and improving the quality of children's healthcare in the Texas Panhandle. All money raised goes to do just that, whether it be buying a piece of life-saving equipment for a hospital, providing emergency funds to a family who is being transferred, or helping with medical bills that are piling up on a family whose child is extremely sick.  CMN does this and more for the children in the Top 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle.
