It's summertime and the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum is once again bringing back its movies on the lawn.

Coming up on Friday, June 17th, bring the family out for an evening of movie watching.  The PPHM will be featuring the beloved classic, The Princess Bride.

Movies on the Lawn will take place on the east lawn next to the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum, located at 2503 4th Ave in Canyon.   The movie will start at dusk which will be around 8:30 PM.

The PPHM will provide popcorn.  However, they will have PPHM merchandise and candy for sale.  Plus, feel free to make a donation to the museum while you are at the event.

Bring your blankets and chairs and get cozy with the family and enjoy this movie for free!

Plus, mark your calendars because coming up in July the PPHM Movies on the Lawn will feature a great Disney/Pixar movie,  Brave.

The July Movies on the Lawn will be on Friday, July 15th.

Other events offered by the PPHM are summer camps including

Boulders, Brands, and Bones-  This camp is for ages 2nd-5th grade and will take place June 21st - June 24th.  Your kids will learn about history art and geology.

Steam Camp - This camp is for ages 7-11 and will take place July 12-15th.  The camp will focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.
