Pizza Planet is celebrating 50 years! They opened their doors in Amarillo on December 12, 1974 and have been serving up some amazing pizza ever since.

Another great item on their menu is their chef salad. If you look at local social media, anytime someone asks where the best salad in town is, Pizza Planet will be the most recommended. Something about the mixture of shredded lettuce, Canadian bacon, their shredded cheese and the black olives just works. It creates a symphony in your mouth.

Oh, and the ranch, there is something about Pizza Planet ranch. It's magical. It's some of the best ranch in the world. It's the perfect topping for their epic chef salad.

Their pizzas are just amazing. Their basic pepperoni is the perfect combination and with their specialty pizzas, you just have to try them all. The taco pizza is delicious, and if you love pizza and cheeseburgers their cheeseburger pizza is the perfect combination.

Plus you can start your meal with Buffalo Supreme Fries and end it with one of their several desserts that will leave you stuffed and happy.
