It's the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum's Night at the PPHM. This has been a fun tradition at the museum for years. It's an opportunity for you and the family to experience the museum at night.
If you're like me, you think, "ooooh does everything come to life once it gets dark?" We know that's not feasible, that only happens in the movies, but in a way, the museum does come to life in the dark.
You'll enjoy the museum in a way you haven't experienced before. Role players and storytellers will bring the museum to life. You'll be able to see what life back in the day was like. You'll be able to chat with the storytellers and ask questions about the history of the Texas Panhandle.
This event isn't designed to be scary, it's a fun new experience. You are encouraged to bring flashlights for the entire family.
If it's been a while since you've been to the PPHM, it's time to experience the magic all over again. Not only will you experience the magic of the museum, but you'll also get to enjoy the museum in a new light, the dark.
The event will take place at the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum on Friday, June 10th from 8 pm - 11 pm.
The cost for the evening is $10 for adults and members of the PPHM. Kids 4-12 $5 and kids under 4 get in free. You can purchase tickets at the door. Cash is encouraged.
