The one thing about Amarillo is we have a lot of great restaurants to choose from and many of those restaurants allow us to grab a bite to eat on the run.
There is a giant wish list of restaurants that people in Amarillo would love to see here in the Yellow City and this new restaurant will give us another option in Mexican eats.
This new restaurant will be moving into 5900 SW 45th Ave. It will be taking over the former Roll 'Em Up Taquitos building.

Qdoba will be remodeling and moving into this building and bringing great Mexican eats to Amarillo.
Yes, it is true that Qdoba will soon be coming to Amarillo. It will be owned and operated by franchisees Thomas Densmore and Ollie Wilkins, and they hope to open in February 2025 at 5900 SW 45th Ave, Amarillo, TX 79109. - Qdoba PR Representative

Qdoba started in Denver, Colorado as Zuma Fresh Mexican Grill in 1995, in it rebranded as ZTeca Mexican Grill in 1997, and in 1999 they rebranded as Qdoba Mexican Grill and has grown and expanded. Then in 2015 it rebranded as Qdoba Mexican Eats.
Yay! Qdoba is moving into Amarillo! Although, we've determined that this building is cursed, hopefully this is the break this building needed.

Qdoba has the opportunity to break the curse and bring delicious Mexican food to Amarillo. Additionally, being close to Amarillo High School, they could offer great lunch specials for the students.
