First Amarillo, Now Hereford-This New Sweet Spot is Coming Soon to the Beef Capital
Hereford, Texas is known as the Beef Capital of the World, but it has been growing over the last decade with new businesses.

Hereford recently got a Starbucks, Scooters Coffee, Chicken Express, a second McDonald's, and most recently Golden Chick, which finally opened after years of anticipation. Now this city is getting a new place to grab a quick breakfast.
First Amarillo, now H-Town.
Shipley Do-Nuts
Yep, this popular donut chain is coming to Hereford. Hereford is no stranger to donuts. They were home to some of the best donuts in decades and that was Troy's Sweet Shop. For those who never had the privilege of a donut from Troy's you missed out, but I digress.
Shipley Do-nuts was originally opened in Houston, Texas in 1936 by Lawrence Shipley Sr., who created the original Shipley donut recipe. Now they are finally making their way to the Texas Panhandle.
Hereford is currently home to a few places to grab some donuts, but soon they will be home to this Texas chain.
According to the licensing department, it will be going in at 533 N. 25 Mile Avenue, which currently belongs to a medical center. However, we believe it is going next to the new Golden Chick in that same shopping center. That would make sense because the one in Amarillo is moving next door to the Golden Chick off Georgia.
