Just drive around Amarillo and Canyon and you will find families who love to decorate their yards for the spooky season, and some of these decorations go beyond!  It makes you want to drive by over and over.

We believe we've hit the jackpot when it comes to Halloween decorations. The Slayton Family has been expanding their collection for over 5 years. They currently have over 24 animatronics to create scares, and 7 of those were handcrafted and created by the family patriarch.

The Creepier the Better!

The Slayton Family goes above and beyond every year to outdo last year's decorations.  The yard in front of their house is filled with a graveyard and the always-watching 12-ft skeletons.  If you're not careful, you might find yourself without your head if the headless horseman whisps by in a flash. Don't get caught by the well because you might get dragged in forever by the little girl who just wants to play.

As you step inside their home, crazy clowns, three-headed dogs, and witches surround the home, and if you're lucky you might be able to get in the drinking game with the boys.

As you step out onto the patio, you'll be greeted by a crazy clown, a swinging scarecrow, a dragon, and the bone chair. The crypt with the unlucky bride awaits you as you make your way into the backyard. You'll be captivated by the Reaper Band, but the rest is something you’ll have to experience for yourself.

Seeing all these amazing decorations lit up at night outside of Canyon is quite the sight.  They informed us that they will be stocked with candy for Halloween!
