A few weeks ago we told you about a hit and run that happened on 10th Street.  They now have a suspect in custody.

The suspect in the hit and run has been identified as Stephanie Luna, a 33-year old female.  She has been charged with 2 counts of Accident Involving Serious Bodily Injury.  This charge is a 3rd degree felony.  The suspect, turned herself in to the Potter County Detention Center.  The APD Traffic Investigation Squad is still investigation.

The Amarillo Police were called out to an accident on early Saturday morning, February 19th at 1:46 am.  The location of the incident was on SW 10th.  A white SUV hit two women crossing the street.   They were not crossing at cross walk or intersection.

The white SUV left the scene.

A 36-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.  The second woman, 24-years-old, was also taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
