
Texas Department of Criminal Justice Rolled Out a New App For Employees
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is a huge business in Texas. The TDCJ is one of the largest employers in the Lone Star State.
The TDCJ employs over 30,000 people. With over 100 prisons and 130,000 inmates, I'm surprised that they don't have more employees.
With that many employees, there has to way to make this simpler for those who work for the TDCJ, and there is; the TDCJ has introduced something to make life easier for their employees.
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice Releases a New APP for Employees
Employees of the TDCJ now have a new app that will make working a bit easier. The new app will have easier access to their work schedules. TDCJ employees can view their pay stubs on the app, check their W-2s, time balances, and receive notifications from the TDCJ. It will also keep them connected.

The app is for TDCJ employees only, and those employees must register and go through a verification process before they can use the app. The app is available on the Apple and the Google Play Store.
Why Are Apps Important to Businesses?
As technology continues to evolve, many businesses are trying to make it easier on employees to access day-to-day information. According to CEO Today, employee apps make it easier to chat with workers and manage daily tasks without having to rely on spreadsheets and other communication tools.
