The answer is simple, it's dating-friendly.  Wallet Hub did an extensive study on all 50 states to determine which one was the best for singles. They looked at 29 different indicators to determine what states were best for singles and which ones were the worst.  Some of those factors included the share of single adults, the unemployment rate for singles, and even the number of restaurants per capita.

If you want the best opportunities to find your partner, Florida is the number one state in the country for singles.  The state to avoid when it comes to dating opportunities is West Virginia, which is the worst state for singles.
