That's why it's great that we live in a very generous state.

Texas does have its issues, but for the most part, Texas is full of the most giving and loving people on this planet.

For some, it should be no surprise that Texas is in the Top 10 of the Most Generous States in the Country.

According to a new survey by Casino.com, who surveyed over 2500 people about their Thanksgiving spending habits:

It comes as no surprise, that when Texans are planning our Thanksgiving feasts we want it to be amazing and we want our guests to know we splurged on the meal.  Texans spend an average of $127 for Thanksgiving dinner.

When it comes to budgeting for that Thanksgiving meal, our Texas Thanksgiving budgets are 17% higher than the national average.

However, when it comes to having the biggest Thanksgiving dinner, Alabama has everyone beat.  The average spent on Thanksgiving in Alabama is $176.56.

That's a lot of turkey!

However, if you're visiting family in Arkansas, get ready for a tiny Thanksgiving Dinner because the average money spent on Thanksgiving in Arkansas is $39.58.

If you look at the East Coast some people drop over $500 for Thanksgiving.  We're looking at you Maryland with your lobsters and crab feasts.

No matter how much you spend Thanksgiving is all about being thankful for what you have and who you have in your life.
