We know that summer is here when we get the notice that the Amarillo Community Market is set to have their opening day this weekend. This is one event that was not officially cancelled last year.

It rolled with the punches. It started out totally virtual. Then the market moved locations in order to be able to social distance and keep the summer going. This year they are back and ready to get their sale on. Center City is ready to help us with our local shopping.

These markets happen every Saturday from 8am until 12:30pm. According to the Amarillo Community Market Website that you can check out HERE:

The Market hosts live music and a diverse mix of everything the Panhandle has to offer. Come check out what our vendors have for you - herbs & veggies, baked goods, live plants, cut flowers, jellies, jams & pickles, arts & crafts.

The Amarillo Community Market is a partnership between Center City of Amarillo and a group of passionate community members that love all things local.

So this is the weekend to head out to 1000 S Polk, the Historic Bivins Mansion, and get your unique shopping done. It's great to have so much to do in Amarillo again. Cheers to 2021.
