The Coors Cowboy Club Ranch Rodeo Rides Into Town This Weekend

Amarillo welcomes two nights of rodeo at the 15th annual Coors Ranch Rodeo this weekend ! The event is set to take place  at the Tri State Fair grounds . Amarillo is rich in ranching history so it's a perfect fit according to event organizer  Quien Stapleton.

"We're set right in the middle of some of the largest and most historical ranches in the country, and those are the ranches that participate in this rodeo," Stapleton said.

"The 6666, the JA, the Bell and the LX - the people who settled those ranches also settled the Panhandle of Texas. And their ancestors are still here and very active in the community," he said.
