
Now Hiring: The Lumberyard in Canyon Prepares to Dish Out More Than Just Concerts
Canyon is growing and expanding and back in 2024 their newest and largest music venue opened their doors.

Danny Byrd, owner of Feldman's Wrong Way Diner purchased the old Canyon Lumberyard and has transformed this piece of land into something beyond imagination.

The Lumberyard opened its concert venue on Saturday, May 18th with The Josh Abbott performing. The summer of 2024 was filled with great concerts of all genres of music. The 2025 season will be even better. However, part of The Lumberyard's vision was to have a restaurant, and that restaurant is one step closer to opening its doors.
The Quonset hut that was on the property is now a brand new beautiful restaurant for the community of Canyon and Amarillo to come and enjoy. Although they haven't announced an official opening day they are close.
The Lumberyard in Canyon is Now Hiring
They are hiring for all positions at the restaurant. If you are interested in applying you can stop at the restaurant at 850 N. 23rd Street in Canyon between 9 am and 12 pm and 2 pm to 6 pm. Just drop in and pick up an application.
- Cooks and Prep Cooks: $14-$18 per hour depending on experience
- Bussers $10 per hour
- Dishwashers $14 per hour

You know just by looking at these few items, the entire menu is going to be drool-worthy and unique to your taste buds. Plus they have a giant beer wall of taps where you can serve yourself, something that hasn't been available in our area.
What a great addition to Canyon, Texas, with great live music and now a new restaurant!
