This Is Huge News For Amarillo Fine Dining And Casual Drinks
When I got a text from Don Rhode at Cask & Cork about their “soft opening” set for Friday May 8, I screamed like a girl who just found out the Jonas Brothers were coming to Amarillo. Well kinda.
Cask & Cork is opening for limited seating beginning at 4 pm with a main focus on their second floor patio seating.
As with Governor Abbott’s social distancing rules still in place, Cask & Cork will adhere to the six foot rule for outdoor dining, however the twenty- five percent occupancy rule does not apply for outdoor dining.
Cask & Cork is asking for all guests to make a reservation for dining. Cask n Cork will have limited seating at 4:30, 6:30 and 8:30 pm. If you would like to make a double reservation to accommodate some additional after dinner drinks, Don said in his text that it would be fine. To make a reservation please call the restaurant at 806-410-1113.
Cask & Cork has an extensive menu ranging from gourmet flats and pies to the finest cuts of chops and beef, pasta and seafood. I’ve tried just about everything, but I can’t get beyond the Berkshire Pork Chop lately (months ago) it’s pretty amazing.
Speaking of amazing is the extensive wine and craft beer selection they offer. Much like the Berkshire Pork Chop I usually stick with the Bockslider Toadies Texas Boch, then end a perfect evening with a beautiful Texas sunset with a snifter of Grand Marnier and a freshly made Crème Brulee . Heaven in Amarillo.
I’m making my reservation for 8:30, hope to see you there!
