Texas Check Your Cookie Dough: Nestlé Recalls Toll House Chocolate Chip Break and Bake Cookies
No! Not the cookies! Occasionally, companies have to recall their food products due to items ending up in the food that shouldn't. Nestlé USA is issuing a voluntary recall of their Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough break and bake bars.
A voluntary recall is being issued because there is a potential presence of wood fragments in the product.
The recall is only focused on two different batches of the Nestlé Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough break and bake bars, 16.5oz. These bars were made on April 24 and 25, 2023.
The batch numbers are 311457531K and 311557534K with corresponding best buy dates 8/22/23 and 10/23/23.
According to the recall, consumers who have purchased this product, should not bake or consume the product. The product can be returned to the retailer where it was purchased for a replacement or refund.
