Amarillo is a city full of rich history, some places have been here for over 100 years and others have been a staple for over 40 years.

It's always a wonderful thing to see something old become new again and we're excited to welcome back something from the past.  What was once old has now become new again.

Back in 1983 a club opened in Amarillo called The Western Horsemen.   It was one of the premiere cowboy clubs in Amarillo.  It was a place where you could go and kick up your heels, grab a drink or two, and enjoy live music.

Over the last decade, it went downhill, and it became a place no one wanted to go, and eventually closed it's doors in 2021. However, that has all changed.  The Western Horseman Club is once again open, and it is a Cinderella story.  This makeover is beyond amazing.

The Western Horsemen was revived by Rory Schepisi, who owns The Drunken Oyster and Savor, and has the most amazing resume in the food world.  The Western Horsemen is back and will be the premier place for drinks and dancing.  It's one of the few clubs in Amarillo where kick up your heels and two-step the night away on a saw-dust-covered dance floor

Not only is The Western Horseman the perfect place to dance and enjoy a drink, but it will also be the perfect place for a delicious meal.  With a Chef like Rory at the helm, you can expect some amazing food.

The decor of the Western Horsemen is stunning.  The dance floor is big and beautiful and ready for you and your partner to dance the night away.

The Western Horseman Club is the only bar in town with a reverse tap system for beer.  This is the tap that fills the glasses from the bottom.  It is quite cool to watch.

Make plans to come out tonight, enjoy the live music, and amazing drinks, see the reverse tap in action, and dance the night away.  Soon, you can enjoy a delicious meal, the restaurant part isn't quite open yet.

The Western Horseman is located in The Cactus Cove Inn and Suites, 2501 E Interstate 40 Hwy

It's time for the older Western Horsemen generations to introduce a newer generation to The Western Horseman.
