Wet Nose Wednesday: Tessa
It's Wet Nose Wednesday where we introduce you to a loving furry friend at the Amarillo SPCA that needs a home. This week, meet Tessa! (Click play on the video above!) Thanks to our weekly sponsor Darndawg Custom T-Shirts.
Tessa was originally adopted from the Amarillo SPCA back in 2016. At the time she was known as Blossom and her new humans gave her the name Tessa. She is back at the Amarillo SPCA because the owners could no longer handle taking care of her. The situation is a bit sad because it sounds like she was just being a dog and they did not have the time to give her the attention she needed. She was also over-fed while staying at the home, so she is now on a diet. She is a very sweet girl that is scared and shy. She will need a family that can give her the attention she deserves and help her shed some pounds in order to get back to a healthy weight. She is a husky mix and is around 5 years old. She will need to be updated on all her shots before she can leave the shelter.
If you would like to adopt Tessa, or any of the other wonderful animals looking for their fur-ever home, give the Amarillo SPCA a call at (806) 622-0555. Don't forget you must call ahead and make a visitation appointment as the SPCA is not open to walk-in traffic due to Covid-19 restrictions.
