A security guard notices something suspicious on and elevator camera and reacts to find a teenager carrying a loaded handgun inside of a courthouse.

Leon Turlington, 18, of Pampa was caught doing something no one else would attempt to do.

Turlington walked inside of the the Gray County Courthouse where he was on his way to talk to his probation officer. He then entered the elevator to go up to the 4th floor where his probation officer is located.

While inside the elevator Turlington was seen messing with his pants by a dispatcher who was watching the security camera inside of the elevator, the cameras were just recently installed inside of the courthouse.

According to Amarillo.com "A dispatcher watching on courthouse security cameras at 10:40 a.m. noticed Christopher Leon Turlington, 18, fumbling with his pants in an elevator and advised a deputy, who found him with a stolen North American Arms .22-caliber revolver, authorities said."

Turlington was arrested and charged with carrying a gun in a prohibited area and firearm theft.
