In today's society, looks are everything.  Girls want to fit in with the crowd so they start wearing make-up earlier and earlier.  They go tanning and some even have cosmetic surgeries.  Would you allow your teenage daughter to get breast implants?

Graduation is here.  High schoolers are soon going into college and they want to make sure to make a good impression.  And of course, looks are everything, even though they shouldn't be.

As a graduation gift, my little cousin asked for breast implants.  I could not believe it.  And the thing that is even more crazy is that my aunt is actually considering it.

I talked to her and she said that she wanted them for self esteem.  I felt sad for her.  She is caught up in what society thinks and fitting in with the crowd.  She said that out of all her friends, she had the smallest chest.

I don't have a daughter, but if I did I would do everything in my power to help her realize that she is beautiful no matter how big her chest is.  I would want her to be confident in her original skin.

People are created different-different sizes, colors, height.  Everyone is beautiful in their own way and young girls shouldn't feel they need surgery to be beautiful.

Am I out of touch with today's youth?  Is it normal for girls to want breast implants?  Would you allow your teenage daughter to have this type of surgery?
