It's been almost two years since we've seen the WWE hold a live event in the Sun City and over a year since they have had house shows anywhere across the country. The WWE was forced to cancel all their pay-per-views, live events, and appearances due to the COVID-19 pandemic that had a lasting impact across the world.

Many countries are still dealing with the effects of the pandemic that crippled economies and many businesses big and small lost profits. The WWE may be a major corporation but the company wasn't immune and in April the WWE announced there would be cutbacks to staff and wrestlers to deal with the pandemic losses.

Now, with so many states reopening and allowing in-person events to return at full capacity, the WWE has decided now is the time to bring back traveling live events to their calendar.

The WWE announced this morning they would have a 25-city live event schedule that begins in July and runs through Labor Day. While we don't know all 25 cities the tour will hit, we do know the first 3 dates and they're right here in the Lone Star state.

  • Friday, July 16: SmackDown – Toyota Center in Houston
  • Sunday, July 18: Money In The Bank – Dickies Arena in Fort Worth
  • Monday, July 19: Raw – American Airlines Center in Dallas

Tickets for the Houston, Forth Worth, and Dallas shows will go on sale this Wednesday, May 26th at 11 a.m. ET. The rest of the tour stops and dates will be announced at a later date.
