I went to the post office the other day. I had a package that needed to be picked up. The one on Ross was where they directed me. I love going to the United States Post Office because I have noticed that they are listening to our radio station while I am there.

That is pretty cool. I always thank them for that. I saw on one of the stands the reminder about Informed Delivery. Are you signed up for it yet? I will have to admit that I signed up for it a couple years ago. I absolutely love this feature.

It is really convenient. I get an email every day letting me know what to expect in the mail that day. What's even better is the email actually shows me scanned images of my mail. I also will get tracking information when I am expecting a delivery from Amazon or any package.

This is really pretty cool. I know ahead of time if I am receiving a bill in the mail. I find out ahead of time when I get a nice letter from Potter County requesting me for Jury Duty. I even know if I can expect a card in the mail for my birthday.

The thing I love about this is the fact that I might not go out everyday and check my mail. I know that is a lazy move. If I know there is nothing really important waiting for me I just saved me some time.

If you have not signed up for this great feature from the United State Postal Service I would definitely get that done. It's pretty easy to do and can inform you daily of what you can expect in the mail. HERE is where you need to go to start the process.

You will be glad you did.

Amarillo On 'America's Most Wanted'

I was surprised to find out recently that we also have a bit of a history with the show America's Most Wanted.

Digging through old news articles, I found several separate occasions where Amarillo and America's Most Wanted crossed paths. It makes me wonder if there are some that I've missed.
