A 24 Year-Old Amarillo Man Will Spend Time In The Slammer For Agravated Assault

Police were able to locate a suspect who threatened another man with a knife.

Shawn Adam Whitney, 24, was booked into the Potter County Jail on charges of aggravated robbery.

Police were patrolling the area of Northeast 15th and Manhattan when they were flagged down by a person on the side of the road informing them about a robbery that just happened.

The suspect was able to give them information of a house where the victim could possibly be. When police showed up the victim was given a photo line-up to choose who performed the robbery and Whitney was identified as the suspect.
