A Man Accidentally Drove His Car Off A Cliff At Palo Duro Canyon, Survives 300 Foot Fall

A nice visit to Palo Duro Canyon State Park turned into a nightmare for one man when he accidentally drove his car off a cliff. Park officials say the man fell 300 feet before he came to a stop. Witnesses to the accident called 911 immediately and the Palo Duro State Park officials along with local authorities responded to the call.

When park officials climbed down the cliff to the vehicle they found the man still conscious. According to ConnectAmarillo.com "The victim was carried back by strether, and then was taken to the Pioneer Amphitheater and transported to North West Texas by Life Flight."
