Amarillo ISD Suspends All Out Of State Travel Amid COVID-19 Fears

Amarillo Independent School District is amending their travel policies due to the possible threat of COVID-19.

The district announced Wednesday that it is officially suspending all out of state travel for students and staff.

Any travel outside of a 300-mile radius of Amarillo is also suspended.

AISD says they are monitoring the situation and adhering to CDC protocols, as well as the guidance of the Amarillo Public Health Department.
