The 2021 season at Hodgetown is going to be here awfully soon. The home opener is right around the corner. Today, to make sure we're all ready for the upcoming baseball season, the Sod Poodles released details on their fan policy and ticketing information.

According to the press release, Hodgetown has received approval from the MLB, City of Amarillo, and Amarillo Public Health Department to operate at increased occupancy this season. That also applies to the Sod Squad games.

If you were worried that they would be operating at a reduced capacity for the season, it looks like you have nothing to worry about.

Also, face coverings will be required in the stadium. The press release states that MLB will be requiring and enforcing the wearing of face coverings. There's also a player buffer zone, hand sanitizer stations, distancing when entering and exiting the park, and they have enhanced cleaning standards...which I think means they'll be scrubbing the place down.

If you aren't a season ticket holder, and have been waiting on info regarding single game ticket sales, we finally have info on single game tickets thanks to today's press release.

Single game tickets will go on sale Monday, April 19 at 10 AM. Tickets for all of the Sod Poodles' home games and Sod Squad games will be available.

There will be a total of 60 games hosted by the Sod Poodles at Hodgetown. The Sod Squad will host 22.

Tickets will be available online at SodPoodles.com, over the phone, or in-person at the box office.

The Sod Poodles home opener is scheduled for May 18.
