Every year in mid September the Tri-State Fair & Rodeo makes it way to Amarillo, and Blake say's "This time of the year, is my favorite."School is back in session, fall is right around the corner and that means the Tri-State Fair & Rodeo will be here before you know it. All the food, rides, and games that you can handle for one whole week beginning on Friday, September 14th at the Tri-State Fairgrounds.

Kicking things off on Saturday, September 8th is the Tri-State Fair & Rodeo Gala benefiting the fair and rodeo scholarship fund. See a Texas Country Favorite, Josh Abbott Band right here the Amarillo tri-sate fair. It doesn't  stop there, with live bands all week long from the Tejas Brothers, the Dirty River Boys, and ending with the Billy Joe Shaver.

With great bands comes great fair specials. Happy State Bank has Ride 'em Cowboy Night on Tuesday, September 18th with only a $10 per person gate admission & a ride wristband. That's a deal that you can't beat along with college night on Thursday September 20th. College students show school ID for FREE admission all day, that includes the rodeo and the concert.

I think my entourage and I would agree that the food might be the best part. The curly fries, the Fried peanut butter & jelly sandwich's, and of course the smoked turkey legs are always cowed favorites. I might have to challenge Blake to a eating contest.

Every year brings something new and exciting to the Tri-state fair, so don't miss out. O, don't forget you can get in during lunch for free, so your whole office can enjoy some delicious fair food. From the Blake FM Entourage, we hope to see you out there.
