Growing up its what my family did on Easter, they would give us children each our own rabbit. And now thinking back we only had the rabbits for a short amount of time, I never knew what happened to them.

I hope nothing bad happened, my guess would be they were dropped off at the local animal shelter. And that is exactly what the ASPCA is warning the public about. Saying the majority of rabbits will end up at the local animal shelter after Easter.

So maybe a cute little bunny rabbit isn't the best choice as a gift for a young child on Easter, maybe a chocolate candy bar shaped as a bunny is a better bet... no?
