A Borger man was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital for injuries he received after falling at work.


Monday afternoon around 3pm an employee at the Conoco Phillips refinery in Borger, TX died from injuries he sustained during a fall while working.

Emergency officials took rushed the employee to the Golden Plains Community Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Company investigators said the incident is still under investigation.

Philips 66 told ConnectAmarillo.com "ConocoPhillips deeply regrets the loss of our employee and wishes to extend sympathy to the employee's family, friends and co-workers."
