One of Amarillo's newest restaurants will donate a portion of their proceeds to the families of the victims of the Dallas shooting.

On July 7th, four police officers and a DART officer were killed by a shooter in Dallas at a protest. The tragedy was met with plenty of controversy about police brutality and the Black Lives Matter movement. Regardless, lives were lost and there are families who are mourning the loss of fathers, sons, husbands, brothers, and friends.

Bubba's 33, which opened in Amarillo on January 25th of this year, wants to help the victims' families by donating a portion of all proceeds on Thursday, July 14th.

The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner on Thursday.

Bubba's 33 serves a variety of pizza, from a veggie pizza to a pizza topped with nacho fixings, and burgers. Their specialty is the 33% bacon burger, which comes with guacamole, a fried egg, or more bacon.
