Wednesday, July 3rd -Kickin' It in Canyon with Mike Ryan
Don't miss this Canyon tradition of live music kicking off the holiday. Kickin' It in Canyon has a new location this year at The Lumberyard.
Gates open at 7 pm, and the show starts at 8 pm. Bring your chairs and get ready to dance the night away. Other acts include Next of Kin. Food trucks and beverages (both adult and regular) will be available for purchase.

Tuesday, July 4th
PANCAKES! Start your 4th of July off with a great breakfast. The Lions Club hosts their yearly pancake breakfast at the Cole Community Center from 7-10 am - cost is $5 per person.
RUNNING! Sign up for the annual 4th Avenue Firecracker Mile, it starts at 9:30 am down 4th Ave.
FAIR ON THE SQUARE -Once you're done eating pancakes you can venture over to the Fair on the Square, to enjoy shopping with many vendors (including those from the Canyon Farmers Market). Fair on the Square is 9 am- 3 pm on the Canyon Square.
PARADE - Get to Canyon early and pick your seat for Canyon's Independence Day, it starts at 10 am on Thursday, July 4th, and travels from the First United Bank Center down 4th past the square. If you travel from Amarillo to Canyon that morning, you'll want to leave early because traffic gets backed up on I-27 and coming into Canyon. Be mindful of where you park in neighborhoods, people do live in those houses.
FIREWORKS - Once you've had all the fun with the parade and shopping, head to Conner Park in the evening for the Fireworks at dark. If it is dry and dangers exist in the area, the fireworks will likely not happen. If that occurs we'll keep you up to date!
