Carlos Jose Ayala Morales was originally listed as a most wanted fugitive in March and is still at large. The Texas Department of Public Safety is serious about putting this man back behind bars.

Ayala Morales is a 44-year-old Hispanic male. He's 5' 8" and weighs 130 pounds. He has tattoos on his abdomen, back, right hand, and both arms.

He is wanted for several serious offenses. His criminal history includes indecency with a child by sexual contact, three counts, indecency with a child by exposure, burglary of a building, and evading arrest/detention with a vehicle.

Why Was He Previously on the List?

Ayala Morales is a convicted sex offender and is required to register every 3 months. In 2000, he was convicted of burglary of a building and received a sentence of 6 months in prison.  In 2018, Ayala Morales was convicted of multiple serious charges,

  • Evading arrest/detention with a vehicle, and received 7 years in prison
  • Indecency with a child by sexual contact, three counts. These incidents involved two 14-year-old girls and one 12-year-old girl. He was sentenced to 7 years for each offense.
  • Indecency with a child by exposure involving an 8-year-old girl. He was sentenced to 7 years.

He was released from TDCJ Prison in 2024. A warrant was issued for his arrest by Harris County on February 10, 2025, for attempted indecency with a child sexual contact.

This man must be taken off the streets before he finds another victim. He is considered armed and dangerous.
