Lately, we have been seening too many stories about Amarillo businesses closing their doors.  Unfortunately, that is just the nature of the beast.  However, it seems that there are certain buildings that come with a curse and no matter what moves into the building it seems doomed.  We call these

Amarillo Cursed Buildings

For those that are new, let me preface this, when we say cursed it doesn't mean haunted or evil spirits, it just means this particular building or area has just had many businesses open and close.

Today, let's take a look at Paramount.  Paramount has quite a few buildings that fall on the cursed building list, but this one in particular has taken the lives of many businesses.

This building has been home to many things, from a Western store to restaurants to a club.

Amarillo Cursed Building - 2108 Paramount Blvd

This building has been home to many different things from a Western store, restaurants, and most recently a club. However, nothing seems to stick as of late, and that is why it is an Amarillo Cursed building.

This building has been the backdrop for many memorable experiences, whether it’s people searching for the perfect western wear, enjoying inexpensive sangria swirls and delicious Mexican food, savoring some tasty barbecue, or dancing the night away. Will the next business to occupy this space be the one to break the curse?

Will the building be demolished, and the curse brought to the ground and a new building bring it new life?  Til then we can only wait around to see who will buy it next and try their hand at 2108 Paramount.
