Texas Panhandle Dairy Queens Are Auctioning Off Their Contents
It was recently announced that many Dairy Queens were closing across the Texas Panhandle and Texas. These DQ locations have been a staple in these small Texas towns.
A piece of childhood for many residents of these small Texas towns has just come to an end as their local Dairy Queen has shuttered its doors. If you grew up in a small town in Texas, Dairy Queen was the place for ice cream. Whether you enjoyed a dip cone, Dilly Bar, or Blizzard, those memories likely include the experience of getting a Country Basket and dipping those steak fingers in gravy, watching it drip down your hand.

It was a devastating blow to many people and now the insides of those Dairy Queens are being auctioned off. In other words, you could own the entire contents of your small-town Dairy Queen.

The contents of these former DQs are being auctioned off on localauctions.com. The auctions will end on Thursday, February 20th at noon.
Currently, the auction includes the entire contents of the Dairy Queens except for the Coke machines, CO2 Tanks, Tea Brewers, and IT Equipment. If you win the auction, you will have to have the contents out of the building by Friday, February 28th. Oh, and that includes removing the DQ signage from the building.
