The Wildcat Bluff Nature Center and the Discovery Center have teamed up to offer some fun learning activities during their Wildlife Weekends

Coming up this Saturday, January 15th, the kids can learn about animals from the Ice Age. Wild West Ambassadors will have activities and demonstrations at the Discovery Center from 11am - 1pm, followed by guided hikes out at the Wildcat Bluff Nature Center.

On Sunday, January 16th the Wildlife Weekend continues with activities and demonstrations brought to you by the DHDC Science Guides at the Discovery Center.

It's a fun weekend of learning, and when it comes to learning about the Ice Age, the kiddos might make reference to the Ice Age Movies.

The demonstrations take place at the Discovery Center while the guided hikes take place at Wildcat Bluff.

Wildcat Bluff Nature Center is a fun place to take the kids, but it's also a fun place to go and enjoy a hike with the family, on your own, as a date or with the dogs. It's a beautiful area and it has a ton of beauty to admire. All the while you are getting a good workout.

If you haven't been to Wildcat Bluff, then you need to take a moment to head out and enjoy afternoon at the Bluff. I keep telling my son that we need to go back out there and enjoy the trails. The great thing about Wildcat Bluff is you can take you're dogs with you, as long as they are on a leash and you clean up after them. Make sure you bring the poop bags, no one wants to step in their stuff. Gross!
