High-Voltage Power Line Catching Fire Is the Definition of Scary
Here's a terrifying sight you don't see very often, if ever.
A high-voltage power line in the Philippines recently burst into flames and then tipped over, nearly touching a highway below it.
Amazingly, the incident "did not cause interruptions," reports ABS CBN. Perhaps even more remarkable is that there were no injuries reported. No injuries or interruptions? You know, a delay may not have been the worst thing, considering an enormous tower with power coursing through it was only a few precious feet away.
So, the next time you're stuck in traffic cursing that jackknifed tractor-trailer, just remember that things could be worse. Much, much worse.
