When it comes to Easter one of the many things our kids will find in their Easter baskets is Peeps. Bunny Peeps, chick Peeps, pink Peeps, blue Peeps, purple Peeps, here a Peep, there a Peep, everywhere a Peep, Peep. A Lot of the time those Peeps, get old and hard and get thrown in the trash. Here's a great way to use those leftover Peeps. Peeps play dough.
Ingredients:
5 Peeps
1 1/2 t. Coconut oil
4 T corn starch
Food coloring (optional)
Directions:
Place all the above ingredients in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir to mix, here is there you would add a few drops of food coloring for a darker color. When cool enough to handle knead until it forms into a dough consistency. There is your play dough.
Tip: rub a little bit of coconut oil on your hands before kneading the mixture to keep it from sticking to your hands.
The best thing about Peeps play dough, it's edible!
