Why Amarillo Residents Want Aldi

Another most wanted store that has been begged for is Aldi. Aldi is one of those stores that people are desperately longing for. Just look at all the Aldi haul videos floating around social media.

Aldi seems to be the perfect store for those on a weight loss journey. Aldi offers affordable alternatives to healthier options.

What Aldi’s 50th Year Expansion Means

As time passes, some residents begin to lose hope. That hope was recently reignited. Aldi is celebrating 50 years in the US and expanding to another 180-plus stores. That's enough to ignite the curiosity again about a possible Aldi in Amarillo.

Recently, job listings for an Amarillo Aldi have begun appearing online. If job listings don't ignite the fire that Aldi is coming to Amarillo, who knows what will, other than an official statement. However, if you do a Google Search for Aldi jobs in Amarillo, you will find over 30 job listings for Aldi jobs.

Texas and Aldi Expansion Plans

Now the bad news,

In the expansion announcement, Aldi stated that 31 states would receive new stores; Texas was not specifically mentioned. It looks like the Austin area is getting a new Aldi store in February. However, no mention of anywhere else. Based on the information available, Amarillo does not appear to be included in current expansion plans.

The Truth Behind Aldi Job Listings

As for the job listings, all these listings are on third-party websites, and scammers often exploit job listings to target people searching for legitimate employment.

These scammers use job hijacking; they copy legit job listings, including logos, descriptions, and even employee names, then they switch out the contact links with fake sites or email addresses to scam your information.

If the listings were legitimate, they would appear on the official Aldi Careers page, which they currently do not.
